Outback Station Adventure
Meeting Point: Wubin approx 275kms from Perth CBD (allow approx 3.5 - 4hrs travel time)
Duration of trip- 11 days/11 nights
(Full meeting details given once booking is made)
This will be a 11 day trip with lots of Exploring, 4wding, Station Stays, Wildflowers, Fishing, Campfires, Relaxing & Outback Camping. This is going to be camping in bush camps even at the stations, so please make sure you bring everything with you. Between stations we will explore some amazing things along the way. Landmarks and some hidden gems.
At one station we will have the lovely Jo Clews showing us how to cook in the ol' camp oven. So a camp oven cooking class, over a campfire with Jo's expertise. Then we will sit and share everyones cooking triumphs, yum! So start thinking what you would like to perfect in the camp oven.
Some stations we have exclusive access to private areas so exploring out there is always fun.
Wildflowers should be in full swing and if its anything like last year...just awesome. Lots of wildlife and also the odd pet sheep or cow will wander in to say hello.
Please keep in mind these are all working stations so cattle, sheep, goats etc. are on the property and we will be guests.
So sounds like your kind of trip?
Basic things you will need:
You will need to be fully self sufficient for the full 11 days. There are very limited resources once we enter the camping areas. And all rubbish must be taken out.
Bring all your Cooking and Camping equipment required. Food and snacks. Drinking Water to cover the 11 days plus any water for other uses. Quiet generators are ok. Solar panels are always a great idea. Canoes/kayaks. Camera.
Camp oven and ingredients for your meal. Fishing gear, bait and tackle as one of the stations has access to the both the river and ocean.
If you don't like to dig a hole then Porta loos are a good idea. Remember the ground gets pretty hard out there. There will be some sites with toilets and camp kitchens so thats always an added bonus.
Ideally this trip would suit Swags & Tents but Off road camper trailers can be taken.
Be sure to bring your camera as there will be some great photo opportunities in the area.
Breakfast will be provided for you to cook up most mornings when we are ready to start the day..
We will have bacon, eggs, beans/spag, toast. small box Cereals, Tea, Coffee, Milk and Milo on offer.
There will also be nibbles supplied at the end of each day when we stop and relax for the evening at camp.
All other meals, drinks and nibbles are BYO.
Sorry but dogs are not able to come on this trip as a couple of the stations have wild dog problems and they have laid baits. So we have been advised to leave dogs at home for their own safety.
Rates: $1200 (inc gst) per Vehicle (based on 2 people)
This cost include all Park Passes, Camping fees, pre booked activities, station tours, homestead tours,
