- 6 Days/6 nights on Dirk Hartog Island

Come on a trip of a lifetime to beautiful Dirk Hartog Island.

Discovered over 400 years ago it is still an isolated remote place to go camping and to explore.

We start the journey heading into Steep Point where we will camp the night, next day we will catch the DHI barge across to the island where we will embark on a 5 day adventure.

Watch the last sunset in the country as you stand on massive cliffs overlooking the Indian Ocean at the most western point in Australia.

Beautiful bays of crystal blue water full of aquatic life. Vast Dune systems and endless views of the ocean and coastline. 

We will be camping at a couple of locations on the island so you will get to see just about everything accessible via 4wd.

 

You will need to be fully self sufficient for the 6 days. There is very limited resources once we are on the island.

Breakfasts will be provided. All other meals, drinks and nibbles are BYO.

There will be a couple of nights that we will have communal meals or have a cookup for all to share.

Kids are welcome

But please be aware that this is a remote area and can have dangerous areas.

Ideally this trip would suit Swags, Tents & Off road camper trailers.

Length limits apply on car and trailer combos (10.6 Metres)

Fuel: Vehicle must have at least 800kms fuel capacity, or be able to carry a gerrycan of fuel for top up.

NO dogs or pets.
