RATED FRONT & REAR RECOVERY POINTS ARE A MUST.
You must have front and rear recovery points to head out on this trip. They MUST be rated and not just the tie downs that are part of your car. There are only a select few 4wd vehicles that come out standard with rated recovery points, all others are fitted aftermarket. If you are unsure PLEASE phone before booking.
The day will consist of learning what you and your car can do. Great for beginners, experienced and those needing a bit of a refresher. We will go through a few basics like tyre pressures, different recovery gear and the dos & donts on different terrain. Great way to try out your skills in a controlled area.
Things you will need:
Morning tea, drinks and a chair.
If you have your own Recovery gear bring it along. We have a kit for use on the day but always good to see what others have and show them ways to use it. Plus you never know when you may need extra gear. If you do not have recovery gear thats not a problem. You can have a look at whats being used and see what you may want to add to your kit. If you have a tyre deflator/s and an air compressor please bring them along as this is one of the main items you 'should have' in your car as 4wders.
Sand flags are also something you should have when doing beach, sand tracks and dune driving. Closed in shoes.
Be sure to bring your camera, and if warm your sunscreen, bathers, towel and hat.
We will put a sausage sizzle on for lunch, if you don't eat sausages please BYO lunch.
Rates: $195 per vehicle (based on 2 people)
(*$250 per car as of 1st January 2021)
Each car receives a goodie bag from Get Lost Tours.
Plus any photos from the days adventures will be sent once we return to Perth.
For bookings & information
No Alcohol is to be consumed during the days driving.
Children are always welcome.
NO PETS as we will be in a National Park.
All vehicles must be licensed, roadworthy and have front & rear recovery points. You should also have full insurance and good remote recovery cover. Two spare tyres are always a good option as well if you can carry them.
If you need advice or explanation of any of the above please phone/email us.
